What’s the benefit of Thunderbell?
The ThunderBell was designed as the ultimate training product that can accomplish exercise and equipment metamorphosis due to its multi-grip design. You are able to incorporate a wide variety of different types of the most popular exercise training tools without ever having to put it down, seamlessly transitioning and incorporating endless combinations of the most effective forms and types of exercises and exercise equipment. This means you can accomplish a lot in a short amount of time, maintaining intensity for the ultimate workout experience. The ThunderBell Training Program works on your balance, coordination, flexibility, mobility, stability, agility, strength, power, isolation, compound, momentum, on and off the ground training, and circular patterns.
The ThunderBell can be used like the following types of exercise equipment:  Dumbbells, Kettlebells, Barbells, Medicine Balls, Free Weights, Abdominal/Core, Cable.

What sets the ThunderBell apart from other fitness tools?
The Thunderbell’s patent-pending design offers 7 unique gripping points that allow for a variety of hand positions.  These grips allow you to transition between hundreds of exercises, both single and double arm, without having to stop and set the product on the floor. The 12” length gives you just the right leverage to integrate circular and spiral movement patterns that flow with, as opposed to fight, the body’s natural interaction with gravity. The ThunderBell is like a steering wheel for the body, allowing you to “drive” through endless dynamic movement patterns, sequencing all major muscle groups.  The ThunderBell’s balanced design, with a variety of gripping points and properly leveraged hand positions, allows the joints to remain properly positioned and neutral to minimize the chance of injury and creates real-world, functional, dynamic strength with motion.

Why is the ThunderBell more effective than a Kettlebell, Medicine Ball, Dumbbell and Barbell?
The Thunderbell is a product designed around the needs of the body. The shoulder joint is very complex - it must be both stable and dynamic. The ThunderBell addresses both the stability and dynamic needs of the shoulder better than a Kettlebell, Dumbbell, Barbell, or Medicine Ball due to its balanced design with a variety of gripping points and properly leveraged hand positions. The ThunderBell and ThunderBell Training Program were developed from years of studying fitness equipment shortfalls, the needs of the body, and current research in fascial and muscle training.

Kettlebell: Originating in Russia as a counter-weight on scales in the marketplace, the Kettlebell was not designed with exercise in mind. It has one handle and is unbalanced, with a center of mass at its base. The weighted portion is positioned away from the handle making it harder to control for swinging movements, especially those that go overhead.  They are mainly used for pendulum-based swinging movements such as the Swing, the Snatch, and the Clean, but no functional movement patterns as the off-center mass makes that type of training difficult and risky.  The position of its one handle does not give you the ability for a wide variety of hand grips. The learning curve is steep - staple moves like the Hang Clean and Snatch require that the Kettlebell pivot over the hand and land on the wrist. For the novice, this is extremely difficult and can cause injury to the forearm. The Kettlebell pressing movements require that the weight rest uncomfortably on the forearm. It is designed mainly for single arm exercises and swinging movements as opposed to sequencing, leveraged circular and spiral patterns - the core of the ThunderBell.

Dumbbell: The Dumbbell offers only one gripping position. Holding a dumbbell any other way other than by the handle could risk injury. Its short length and lack of additional grips makes it extremely difficult, awkward, impossible and dangerous to do dynamic, synchronized muscle movements like the ThunderBell program.

Barbell: Barbells offer limited range of motion, locking the shoulder into a fixed range with a prone gripping position.  When doing overhead pressing, it forces the shoulder into external rotation and abduction simultaneously. The risk of injury is much higher.

How does the ThunderBell Training Program differ from traditional weight training?
The ThunderBell Training Program (TTP) combines the wisdom of traditional weight lifting with functional, transitional, dynamic, and movement-integrated patterns. The TTP quickly integrates isolated muscle and joint exercises into multi-joint, multi-muscle group exercises combined with linear, circular, and primal motion patterns.  Exercise integration, flow, and transition are stressed over traditional set, rep, and rest periods. You optimize calorie burn during exercise because you are using all muscles under a continuous load without interruption.  The multi-dimensional, dynamic movements blending strength and motion exercises enhance and restore your ability to bend to extend, push, pull, squat, rotate, lunge, and perform single leg exercises – your ability function. This means that you get stronger, more mobile, and extremely fit to take on any of your work, sport, or life demands.

Is the ThunderBell the right piece of equipment for me?
The ThunderBell was developed to meet the broadest of demands in strength, movement-based training, and conditioning. From elite Navy SEALs, professional athletes, fitness enthusiasts, weekend warriors, to the beginner exerciser – there is something that the ThunderBell Training Program can do for everyone. The ThunderBell has the unique ability to progress you from developmental, simple, linear, and traditional exercises and seamlessly integrate them into circular, rotational and complex movements patterns (functional training) to help you accomplish an efficient, total body workout.  Following the ThunderBell Training Program will increase your flexibility, balance, coordination and mobility while improving your strength and endurance, helping you achieve incredible results.

How much does the ThunderBell weigh?
The ThunderBell weighs 10 pounds.

Is 10lbs enough weight to challenge me?
When variables such as speed of movement, balance, leverage, and momentum are integrated with the body’s reaction with gravity, 10 lbs is a considerable amount of weight that will challenge even the strongest of individuals.  Your body will have to respond to both centripetal and centrifugal forces simultaneously – it’s intense!  The ultimate challenge in the program comes from your body’s adaptation to reacting forces and spreading the forces associated to the muscles and joints as a whole. You will be challenged as the ThunderBell program progressively adjusts variables of speed, range of motion, rhythm, exercise sequence, and intensity. The ThunderBell is not a traditional weight or program – you will utilize it in ways you’ve never dreamed possible and will get in the best shape of your life.
